The Fastest-Growing Trend in Skincare β And Itβs Not What You Think
Jan 07, 2026
I am a professional facialist by trade. Then I became a skincare educator. But now my role is so much more than that, it almost doesn’t feel like my title fits me anymore.
I have spent the last eight years researching all things skin, so my education is far more in-depth than traditional skincare courses that focus only on treatments. Mine is about the why, how you build and sell protocols, and I have now become an expert in all things ageing and biohacking.
An industry expert probably feels more fitting now.
I recently delivered a seminar on energy-based devices at the Regenerative Summit on behalf of House of Sublimity. The first thing I did was start to research trends in the industry. I have used energy-based devices for over 20 years, both in clinic and in my own salon, with huge success.
I never really understood the injectable trend when I could see what was possible with the right technology and biohacking methods. Toxins in skincare just never fitted for me.
Anyway… my research showed me what I already knew: non-invasive, biohacking skincare is rising at an incredible pace, with clients opting for painless, non-invasive methods over quick fixes. This was my niche in my clinic.
However, what was a huge surprise was what was outpacing everything else — home-care devices.
For professionals, this can feel scary, as clients are doing more themselves. But I look at it as a benefit. Finally, clients are understanding that skin is constant, and that regular practices beat quick fixes any day of the week. Having both is optimal.
At-home devices, especially LED face masks, top the chart, which was a huge shock. As millennials reach an age where they are looking at ways to keep their skin young — while juggling kids, jobs, and busy schedules — as professionals, we need to adapt to the new normal.
Regular practices, supplements, skincare, at-home devices, and guiding our clients towards the correct ones. Safe tools. Certified tools. Teaching them how to use them.
So don’t let the biggest retail opportunity in skincare pass you by. Choose clinically backed, professional-grade devices that are globally certified as safe, effective, and ethical.
Here is my recommendation: the Louisa Webb silicone LED device.
These far outweigh others in performance, safety, and ethics. Because of that, I have happily put my name against it and highly recommend it.
